Our Family Resource Center is a healthy, vibrant place where resources are available to enrich and connect our community, one family at a time.

Vision

Our Family Resource Center is a friendly, vibrant, highly-valued and utilized facility, supported and recognized by the community as a site with activities for every age, regardless of income or background. Branches of Family Resource Centers exist in each region of the County, with programs for all ages – in education, training, enrichment and life skills.

All families, regardless of income, status, ethnicity, lifestyle, and past choices need a supportive place that embraces diversity and is free of judgment. The core role of family is to love, nurture, protect, support, provide tradition and social values, and shape lives. Our goal is to break the repeated cycle of despair and ignorance caused by poverty and lack of support.

Our Family Resource Center is a magical place for children, volunteers, board members, families and all community members. Our Family Resource Center is how Del Norte children remember growing up, and what they dream for their own families.
