We Need Your Support! Please accept our warmest thanks for your support of the Del Norte Family Resource Center. As you know, the Resource Center has come to be a beacon of hope for many in Del Norte County. We are home to many different agencies and an average of 150 people per day who seek services. Some of these services include; child therapy, parent education, organized playgroups, referrals, and assistance with utilities. We proudly serve all ages, ethnicities, socio-economic levels, and believe strongly that all people should be treated equally and fairly. The Resource Center’s programs and partners have been an improved way for many agencies to connect with our community in the convenience of what is truly a large community home. Since our inception, the Del Norte Family Resource Center has appreciated our founder, FIRST 5, who leases us a beautiful building at an affordable cost. In addition, we garner consistent financial support from renting offices and rooms. The remainder of our funding comes from an outside private foundation who has recently notified us that funding will most likely no longer be available.
In the past we have asked for community donations to fund the backpack program and we are always deeply moved by the generosity of our community.We now need your help to keep our doors open and to continue to serve our community.
There are many ways to give to the Del Norte Family Resource Center. Our Board and Staff have pledged monthly donations and are encouraging our friends to do the same. If a monthly commitment is not feasible any donation of any amount would be greatly appreciated.
